- Account Information: When you create an account via our authentication provider (Clerk), we collect your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Profile Data: Your display name and any profile information you choose to provide during onboarding.

- Study Progress: Lesson completions, quiz scores, streak counts, and study session timestamps to track your learning journey.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and timezone (used for personalized notification scheduling).
- Push Notification Tokens: If you opt in to notifications, we store your Expo push token to send you reminders and encouragement.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your location data.
- We do not collect contacts, photos, or any media from your device.
- We do not use any advertising trackers or analytics SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

- Track your study progress, streaks, and achievements.
- Send push notifications (daily reminders and re-engagement messages) — only if you opt in.

4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (US-East region) and served through Vercel. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit.
- Authentication via Clerk with secure session management.
- Server-side API routes protected by authentication tokens.
- Push notification endpoints secured with secret-based authorization.
5. Push Notifications
Bsupp offers optional push notifications to help you maintain your study habits. These include:
- Streak Reminders: Scheduled locally on your device at your usual study time.
- Morning Encouragement: A daily motivational message at 7:00 AM your local time.
- Re-engagement:If you haven't studied in 3 or more days, we may send a gentle reminder.
You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the app's Settings screen. When you disable notifications, your push token is deactivated on our server and all local reminders are cancelled.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below. We will process your request within 30 days.

Bsupp is designed for users of all ages who wish to study the Bible. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
